I dunno why it does it, but the board keeps dropping the fact that I'm logged in when I return to the index page, so have to log in again.

I don't mean on return visits to the board, but if I say post a message then go back to the board index I won't be logged in anymore.

Not encountered anything like this myself...rather weird...

can anyone else who has had this problem let me know. See if we can get some common factors.
